ASSILEA Associazione Italiana Leasing

Assilea, Associazione Italiana Leasing, represents about all of the leasing companies in Italy, classed into generalist banks, specialist banks, non-banking financial intermediaries, brokers and dealers, long-term rental companies.
The Association's key task is to carry out institutional activities with a view to providing information and assistance to its Members and contributing towards the solution of leasing-related issues at different levels, in different domestic and international venues.
The Association main objects are to promote "leasing-as-a-product"and to regulate its Members operations consistent with the peculiar nature and characteristics of leasing transactions.
In addition to representing and protecting its Members common interests and assisting them in addressing operational problems as these emerge in everyday business practice, Assilea performs fact-finding and problem-solving tasks relevant to, and activities instrumental in, or ancillary to, leasing transactions– whether finance leases, operating leases, or other types of leasing arrangements.
At an international level, Assilea has been participating through its representatives, in the Governing Bodies and activities of the European Federation of Leasing and Renting Company Associations (Leaseurope) Leaseurope
